Meet the Founder
Founder & Strategist
For most families, college admissions feels like a black box. For Cole, it is a process he has seen from both sides: first as a student admitted to Harvard, Stanford, Princeton, Brown, and other top universities, and later as a mentor guiding students through the same path.
After choosing Harvard for his undergraduate studies, Cole went on to receive a full scholarship to study Ancient Philosophy at Oxford, where he later taught Ancient Greek. His research has been published in academic journals, including work contributing to breakthroughs in the treatment of Parkinson's and Alzheimer's disease.
With more than a decade of advising experience, Cole has helped students earn admission to top universities across the country, including a recent student he mentored over four years to early admission at Harvard. As a Founder and Mentor, he leads Whetstone with the belief that standout applications come from strong character and a love of learning.
